There are several different methods in which breast reduction surgery can be performed including liposuction, inferior pedicle, periareolar round block, central mound, periareolar double skin, superior pedicle, and free nipple graft. Each procedure can also leave a scarring, so surgery candidates should always plan for scar camouflage and areola pigmentation ahead of time.
