October is breast cancer awareness month. It is time to celebrate life with friends, mothers, sisters and other women you love by recommending that they keep themselves safe from cancer with regular breast examinations and mammograms.
Breast cancer is no longer the "death sentence" it used to be. Many new treatments and medications help survivors to live long and fruitful lives after breast cancer.
My Center provides a very unique specialized service to help women rediscover their personal beauty as they recover from breast cancer. I encourage you to review and share this information with any women you know who have learned that they have breast cancer.
Best Regards,
Melany

When It Comes to Breast Reconstruction Services You Have Legal Rights
That's right when it comes to reconstructive breast surgery and paramedical tattooing you actually have legal rights to use the provider YOU choose and have your insurance company pay for or a portion of the treatment.
The Women's Health and Cancer Rights
Act of 1998 requires traditional health
insurance companies. to cover reconstructive
surgery or related services following a
mastectomy, as recommended
by attending physician to complete breast
reconstruction . Election of medical ancillary
services by a qualified providers (beyond
physician) is covered.
For those with an out of network benefit (ability to choose whom they elect to choose beyond those in the insurance network), election of practitioners, (ie. The Whitney Center for Permanent Cosmetics) is covered usually at the same percentage as their medical out of network providers.
We urge that anyone considering using their election of an out of network provider, be familiar with their rights according to federal law and be their own advocate by understanding their rights and letting their insurance company know that they know their rights of provider choice.
The choice of going to a serene private medical office, and having the completion of your areola complex done by an expert in advanced medical tattooing is your right. You can choose a professional who can create symmetry and balance to the breast during a two hour procedure where you are awake and comfortable. This is a welcome alternative to going back into a hospital for surgery where a physician or nurse draws a less than satisfactory areola/nipple often times looking like a bullseye. This procedure may take 15 minutes vs. the artfully implanted repigmentation of the areola complex done by Melany Whitney who uses 3-D artistry to render a life-like looking nipple and areola.
Melany Whitney is recognized by surgeons the world over as the preeminent 3-D nipple and areola artist who specializing in miraculous transformations after breast cancer surgery.
